WOW Torghast Tower of the Damned is a 1 to up to 5 player dungeon in Shadowlands expansion. Due to the traps in each Torghast floor, you are allowed to die for certain times. And the next floor will go on if you defeat Tarragrue.
WOW Torghast Tower of the Damned dungeon in Shadowlands
Torghast Tower of the Damned is a dungeon in the center of the Maw in Shadowlands. You can challenge this dungeon alone or in group with up to 5 players. Currently it's available for testing on the Shadowlands Alpha for Demon Hunter, Mage, Priest and Warlock.
Torghast floors appears randomly every time you enter into Torghast, and you can have a different experience every time you play. The higher you climb the tower, the more complex Torghast floors become. The floors include crazy traps including spikes, swinging axes and lightning traps, and you can encounter a boss every 6 floors.
Tarragrue & deaths in WOW Torghast Tower of the Damned
When you play Torghast Tower of the Damned, you will be able to die several times on each floor before Tarragrue finds you. The specific deaths times on each floor are below:
Solo: You can die 3 times per floor.
2-player group: You can die 5 times per floor.
3-player group: You can die 7 times per floor.
4-player group: You can die 9 times per floor.
5-player group: You can die 11 times per floor.
Your run will not end although you reach the cap of deaths times. And a new bar will show the arrival of the Tarragrue in 30 seconds. Once the 30 seconds are up, Tarragrue will appear at the start of the floor and make its way to the floor exit slowly. He has an aggro radius and can melee you to death in a single swing. When you defeat the Tarragrue to the exit, the next floor will continue. If you don't kill Tarragrue to the exit, your run is over.
