WOW legendary weapon transmog has been updated before the release of patch 8.3. Now several legendaries can only available for specific classes to transmog. Besides, Mechagnome transmog currently has some limitations on slots.
Changes to WOW legendary weapon transmog
With Visions of N'Zoth going live for two days, WOW legendary weapons will also be able to transmogged. However, currently Blizzard has updated legendary weapon transmog with some details. For example, the following legendary weapon transmog have restriction on classes:
- Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings: now can only be transmogged by Druid, Monk, Paladin, Priest and Shaman classes.
- Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest: now can only be transmogged by Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman and Warlock classes.
- Golad, Twilight of Aspects/ Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages: is exclusive to Rogue class.
Moreover, the weapon Warglaive of Azzinoth that was originally equipable by several classes such as Warrior and Rogue now only can be transmogged by Demon Hunters.
Limitations on WOW Mechagnome transmog
There are also some limitations on Mechagnome transmog, and Mechagnomes are the only Allied race to have transmog slot limitations.
For one thing, when patch 8.3 Visions of N'Zoth is released, Mechagnome players can't transmog their feet, wrist and hand slots. They can choose between several arm and leg modification options to show off their metallic limbs instead of transmogging these slots. For another thing, their armor doesn't have boots, wrists and gloves and will be visible on helm, shoulders, chest, cloak, waist and legs, but only the lower torso will show pants transmog.
